Women’s Health and Well-Being Through Awareness and Support
The United Women Empowerment Programme (UWEP) is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of women and young girls by addressing critical health challenges through education, awareness, and support initiatives.
Our cancer awareness programs focus on early detection, prevention, and treatment of cancers that disproportionately affect women, such as breast and cervical cancer.
We empower women with the knowledge and resources needed to take charge of their health through community outreach, screenings, and health education.
UWEP promotes menstrual health and hygiene by donating reusable sanitary towels to girls in underserved communities.
Lack of access to menstrual products often leads to school absenteeism and social stigma, but by providing sustainable hygiene solutions, we ensure that girls can continue their education with dignity and confidence.
UWEP also works to raise awareness about emotional well-being, stress management, and mental health support systems by recognizing the importance of mental health.
We help women and young girls navigate the challenges of daily life while fostering resilience and self-care by organizing counseling sessions, peer support groups, and mental health education campaigns.
With these efforts, UWEP remains committed to creating healthier communities by ensuring that women and young girls receive the support they need to lead empowered and fulfilling lives.
